Share & Care
November to December 2024
Our inaugural event supporting Chez Doris, a Montreal day shelter offering safety, essentials and care for women in vulnerable situations.
With support from SPCI and Uniprix, in collaboration with ProACT and Helping Hands, we donated over 2.8 thousand dollars in essential medical supplies and 200 clothing items. Each item was paired with simple how‑to‑use notes to help women feel confident and empowered in their own health.

MUHC's First Blood Drive
April 2nd 2025
In collaboration with ProACT, WHAM organized the first blood drive at the McGill University Hospital Center (MUHC) for Hema-Quebec.
Thanks to the generosity of over 77 donors, we collected 213 blood products, which could make a difference for 189 lives.

Bagging Fundraiser
September 2024
WHAM's first fundraising event benefiting EndoCARES endometriosis clinic consisted of a Bagging Fundraiser at Provigo Le Marché Kirkland.
Thanks to the incredible support of our community, our bagging fundraiser raised over $2.3k for EndoCARES, an MUHC organization dedicated to supporting and empowering women impacted by endometriosis.

Run for EndoCARES
September 2025
WHAM joined the EndoCARES team at the Marathon de Montréal Beneva in Fall 2025 to raise awareness and funds for endometriosis care.
Members of our community took on the 5K, 10K, and 21K races, coming together to proudly raise over $3.5 for EndoCARES.

Brave The Waves
June 2025
WHAM’s annual Brave the Waves event brings our community together for a high-energy dragon boat competition in support of breast cancer. In partnership with our beneficiary, More Than A Cure (MTAC), the event raises funds to support breast cancer warriors.
In its very first edition, Brave the Waves proudly raised over $19k for breast cancer.

Woven TogetHER
November 2025
Woven Together is a collaborative project in partnership with the Indigenous Health Outreach Club, ProACT, Médecins du Monde, and the Whole Person Care Interest Group.The project includes women’s health circles, an online educational awareness campaign, a trauma- & violence-informed care workshop, and a Pap clinic.
WovenTogether aims to reduce barriers, promote health equity, and advocate for accessible, respectful, and trauma-informed healthcare for Indigenous women.

With Love, for Her Heart
February 2026
With Love, for Her Heart was a successful awareness and fundraising campaign focused on women's heart health.
Highlights included the Move for Her Heart fitness fundraiser, which attracted approximately 20 participants and generated valuable community exposure, as well as the Roses for Her Heart initiative, which sold 250 roses. Together, these events raised over $1K in support of PowerHub while helping to promote education and awareness around women's cardiovascular health.

McGill 24
March 2026
McGill24 was a successful online fundraising campaign that raised over $6,000 in support of our mission.
These funds will help advance our educational initiatives aimed at addressing important gaps in women’s health and equipping future healthcare professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to provide more informed, equitable care.

MUHC Blood Drive
March 2026
The 2nd MUHC Blood Drive was a tremendous success, bringing together 99 donors, including many first-time donors, to support Quebec’s blood supply.
The event received strong institutional support and visibility, with participation from MUHC leadership and media coverage that will help further promote blood donation in the community. WHAM contributed by coordinating volunteers, whose efforts helped ensure the event ran smoothly and successfully.

More Than Just a Period
March 2026
More Than Just a Period was a collaborative awareness campaign focused on endometriosis education and advocacy. In partnership with EndoCARES, MPPC, and PinkFlow’d, the campaign highlighted the realities of living with endometriosis through educational content, podcast discussions, and patient testimonials.
The campaign will wrap up in October 2026 at the Montreal Marathon with the EndoCARES team raising funds for endometriosis care.

The Wellness Edit
April 2026
The Wellness Edit was a multi-faceted campaign dedicated to promoting women’s mental health, wellbeing, and safety through awareness, advocacy, and community engagement.
The initiative featured educational content, a letter-writing campaign in support of women and children served by the Shield of Athena, and a community Pilates event in collaboration with MTL Pilates.
Bringing together local partners and supporters, the campaign raised over $1,000 for the Shield of Athena while creating meaningful opportunities for collective action in support of survivors of domestic violence.
